CCM Launches Feeding Program

Did you know that Children Centre Mayungu has its very own farm? This vibrant 3-acre space isn’t just a source of fresh food for our children – it’s a place where they learn responsibility, teamwork, and the joys of nurturing life. By choosing to buy produce from our farm, you’re not only getting delicious fruits, vegetables, and farm-fresh products, but also investing in a brighter future for our children.

The Heart of the Farm

Happy Livestock: Our farm is home to playful goats, gentle cows, contented pigs, and a flock of busy chickens. Children help care for the animals, building a sense of compassion and purpose.
Seasonal Bounty: Our fields are filled with a variety of nutritious fruits and vegetables, changing with the seasons and providing a healthy, diverse diet for our children.
A Learning Environment: The farm is a hands-on classroom! Children learn about sustainable farming practices, nutrition, and the connection between food and well-being.
How Your Support Makes a Difference

Nourishing young bodies and minds: Fresh produce from the farm ensures our children receive essential nutrients for healthy development.
Teaching self-sufficiency: The farm helps our children develop essential life skills and contributes to the Centre’s self-sufficiency.
Fostering a love of the land: Working with animals and growing food creates a deep connection to nature and respect for the environment.
